Round 2

This pick was traded to the Miami Dolphins for WR – Chris Chambers


Round 3, Selection 69

Jacob Hester – HB. LSU (Acquired from New England for San Diego’s fifth-round selection in 2008 (No. 160) and second-round selection in 2009.

Primarily used as a fullback and special teams player during his time with the Chargers, he provided more offensive support during the 2010 season than his two previous seasons. He racked up 205 yards on 48 touches and was a solid safety valve for quarterback Philip Rivers.


Round 4

San Diego used this pick in the 2007 Supplemental Draft to select Paul Oliver.


Round 5, Selection 166

Marcus Thomas – HB, Texas-El Paso

Thomas was cut before the start of the 2008 season. He spent the rest of that season with the Detroit Lions, seeing the field during three games. Since 2008, he has been out of the NFL.


Round 6, Selection 192

DeJuan Tribble – CB, Boston College

Tribble was cut before the start of the 2008 season and never found another opportunity in the NFL.


Round 7, Selection 234

Corey Clark – T, Texas A&M

In his first two seasons with the Chargers, Clark hit the turf in only two games while spending the majority of his time in San Diego on the practice squad. In 2010, Clark failed to make the roster and was signed and cut from the practice squad multiple times throughout the season.
